How Will You Begin Discipling the Two Types of Seekers?

Posted in: 2011 LIVE SENT CONVERSATION, Videos

God prepares people to be discipled in different ways.  Some people are spiritual seekers by nature.  Some people never show any interest in spiritual matters until they face a major crisis in their life.  Regardless, as disciple makers, we must be prepared to meet them at their point of interest and disciple them into a relationship with Jesus.  If we wait to consider how we disciple people until we are confronted by people who need discipling, we could possibly make huge mistakes in the discipling process.  Mistakes at this point could potentially affect someone’s walk with Christ for a long time.

Great blog, nice video, and excellent discipleship tools here! I am a Third Option Man, and know that every time I’ve been faced with a discipleship opportunity, I’ve had to rely fully on the leading of the Holy Spirit in order to meet the needs of the individual; He’s the only One that knows what a person’s going through at any given stage of his/her walk with Christ.
